For sale is my vw lupo sdi 53 plate. Only reason I am selling it is due to expanding family, something the lupo can not address, otherwise you would not be reading this. It is not new, so expect paint defects and bumps, but no rust on the sills or wheel arches due to being galvanised. I have looked after it, and even upgraded the suspension to coil overs and fitted the snowflake alloys from a 1975 mk1 VW Scirocco. I have kept my own records for servicing, but I bought it august 2011 with 133,300 miles, and it has done 183388 before being SORN'd. As of posting this advert (28/05/15), it has been sat on driveway for a week. Clutch was done by previous owner at 103k, as was the cam belt (I have also done it). Here is all the notes from my personal service book since my ownership:- 134,869 8/10/11 oil change, oil/fuel/air filters 134,880 9/10/11 Inlet manifold de-coked and egr disabled 139,500 25/2/11 Cambelt kit and aux belt replaced 140,100 18/3/12 coil overs fitted and car dropped under 40mm 141,130 15/4/12 Oil and filter change 144,150 23/6/12 Front tyres replaced 147,000 28/7/12 Oil and filter change 153,000 Nov 2012 oil and filter change 156,000 Dec 2012 Air and fuel filter replaced 157,500 Feb 2013 Front ads and discs replaced 158,500 10/3/13 Boot handle replaced 160,100 14/4/13 Oil and filter replaced 166,500 20/10/13 Oil and filter replaced 166,885 11/3/14 PAS pump and high pressure line replaced 172,00 31/5/14 Air filter replaced 172,300 16/6/14 Alternator clutch pulley replaced 173,600 13/7/14 Fuel filter replaced 174,100 2/8/14 Oil and filter replaced 180,600 24/2/15 Oil and filter replaced, transmission fluid topped up (minor top up) Previous owner also had the pedal box replaced due to common issue with polo's, lupos and golfs of the time (weak welds). The improved stronger pedal box is now fitted and has caused me zero problems. Tank holds 25 litres, and the reserve is 2 litres (you are looking at over 20 miles before you completely run out, I know, I tried it.) That is some of the good stuff, here is some on the other end of the spectrum:- 1) To open the boot, you have to push slightly on the VW badge then pull on the boot handle. 2) The passenger central locking does not always open/close, but you can use the key to open manually or pull the handle from the inside 3) The window control on drivers side for the passenger window will go up but not down. The passenger buttons work as normal. 4) Took my nice stereo out, but will put in the VW tape/radio unit from the golf sdi. 5) Only one key. If you would like any more information or images, just let me know. Sorry about the long description but I wanted to be comprehensive. I am open to reasonable offers but I do recommend a viewing.
